Howdy! I'm CRRN, pronounced sern, or Carrion. I do whatever interests me, whether that be drawing, streaming, making videos, academics & research, making games, animating, editing, designing, or something else! Most of my drawings have to do with my original characters and their world, Paradise: Lost, which you can read about here, by clicking the "OC Project" button below, or throughout the drawings I make. For professional, business, or work inquiries, please contact me at [email protected]. For personal commissions, please see my VGen.

Paradise: Lost is my main OC project and has been in the works since 2021. It focuses heavily on extensive worldbuilding, character dynamics, moral dilemmas, and why we do anything at all if we all die someday anyway.Hyun-Koune'li, a young prodigy like the world has never seen before, has lived over 7,000 years after gaining the ability to rewind time. His end goal is all-knowing omniscience; but the one thing he cannot find the answer to is the origin of this ability of his. Bell, a being with unlimited power, has spent these thousands of years tracking his activity across her domain, as it seems he is one of the few things she cannot control. When she finally reaches out to offer him truth and an answer to what he seeks in exchange for his cooperation, he must decide if her ideal Paradise is worth all the lives that were, are, and will be, if not existence as a whole. All information regarding Paradise: Lost can be found by clicking the "Link Hub" button above. An artbook compounding all of the docs into an easier-to-read and visual format will come out... someday soon! For now, it manifests itself in the illustrations, games, and other projects I work on. My ultimate goal is to turn Paradise: Lost's story into a metroidvania-like game.

I (CRRN) am a minor, and my parents have full access to my social media accounts, EMails, and other online activities. No commissions are accepted nor completed by me without my parents' acknowledgements and/or permission. Do not submit NSFW requests when commissioning me, attach reference sheets containing pornographic, nude, or suggestive material, or send me requests if you are uncomfortable speaking with someone under the age of 18. Please message me personally if you have any questions regarding this, we would be happy to answer.GENERAL
1. I have the right to deny any commission request(s) without providing an explanation.
2. You, the commissioner/client, cannot and will not claim my artwork as your own or as drawn by another person(s). When posting my art on external social medias, I will have full credit as the artist unless otherwise discussed.
2a. Please credit me with a DIRECT LINK back to my Carrd, X (Twitter), Instagram, or 小红书. Do not link any of my other social medias.
ACCEPTABLE (Examples): Art by https://x.com/_CRRN_ , Art by @_CRRN_ on X, Art by @_crrncrw_ on Insta
UNACCEPTABLE (Examples): Art by carrion, Art by CRRN*

*Unless discussed otherwise.
3. Artwork that is not paid or discussed to be for commercial use is for PERSONAL USE ONLY.
Please see the "Use" section for further details on usage.
4. Do not use my or any artwork you receive for cryptocurrency, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), or use any of my artwork for training artificial intelligence/generative image models.5. I have the right to post any and/or all artworks on external social media and to use artwork as examples on my portfolio. If you do not want me to share or post the finalized art piece, inform me beforehand. There will be an extra (+$100%) fee on top of the original price.
Please see the "Additional Fees" section for further details on potential additional fees.
6. Do not heavily edit my work without my permission. Small changes such as color shifting, background color changes, and cropping, are permitted.
6a. I consider heavily editing to be to edit a piece to the point where it is difficult to recognize the original art piece pre-editing. Please EMail me if you are unsure if your edits would be considered "heavily edited".
6b. You are permitted to draw over or make changes to artwork you receive as a result of a commission so long as I am credited as the original artist, you do not claim to have drawn the original art piece, you make it clear your version of the artwork is edited, and the original artwork can still be recognized in the edited version.
7. Requesting major changes or additions to the artwork after I have completed the lineart and/or sent work-in-progresses (WIP) will not be added.8. My commissions are not traditionally first-come-first-serve (FCFS). I draw what I believe I will do the best when there is great demand.9. I will not draw pornographic or suggestive art. Gore, within reason, is fine.
9a. I will not draw art featuring characters from official media with self-inserts (yumeships).
9b. While not outright banned, I am far less likely to accept commissions involving couples or romantic elements.
10. Commissions will be in MY style. Please be aware of this before commissioning me. Do not ask me to try and mimic the style of other artists, draw something exactly as [X] drew it, etc.PAYMENT
Payment is to be sent in full before a commission is started. Due to past complications, 50% before and 50% after is no longer available. Payment is to be sent by PayPal (do NOT send payment EMail [email protected]; I will send you my personal email). CashApp can also be used if PayPal is unavailable. If you cannot access either of these options, please discuss with me privately.
Payment plans can be worked out for commissions over $250. Payment plan timeframes cannot exceed six months. You will not be given the full version of an illustration before the commission is fully paid. You may be able to preview heavily watermarked, downsized, and edited, screenshots.REVISIONS
1. If a commission is not SKEB (no communication), I normally send multiple screenshots as progress. I will not continue large amounts of progress without your approval and/or acknowledgment (lineart, coloring, rendering, etc).
2. As stated earlier, requesting major changes or additions to the artwork after I have completed lineart and/or sent wip shots will not be added, however, exceptions can be made for small or easy changes. It will vary from case to case. There is no extra charge for small changes.3. Please know that in my art process, I will merge all of the layers before beginning color correction, rendering, and other major details which will contribute to the final piece. Please feel free to ask me for the .psd before I merge the layers; otherwise, I do not save backups.DEADLINES AND DELIVERY
1. Do not commission me expecting a fast and/or rushed art piece. If there are deadlines, I expect them to be at MINIMUM a five-month notice.
2. I have a very erratic schedule (I am a full-time student) and I don't often get to control the way my time is spent. Only commission me if you are willing to wait, but I will still try to work as fast as possible!USE
1. Unless discussed, my work is for non-commercial personal use only. Using art as your profile picture, banner, etc, on other social medias is fine as long as I am directly credited (ex.: "icon by @CRRN on Twitter")
2. Personal use, such as ordering keychains, prints, or physical goods of my art that will NOT BE RESOLD OR MASS PRODUCED is fine.
*Mass Produced = # of items exceeds 10.
3. Commercial & Monetized Usage, which involves sharing the art you receive from me on monetized social platforms, creation of physical items for the purpose of selling or trading in exchange for real-world currency, or otherwise using the content created for you by me in a manner that allows you to gain real-world currency, begins at +100% of the price of the artwork you commissioned. For example, a $200 commission will instead cost $400. Alternative methods of Commercial & Monetized Usage (ex. I (CRRN) am paid 1% of the profits you earn) can be discussed.REFUNDS
1. A piece can be cancelled if it has not begun to be worked on + we have not confirmed it. Once payment is sent, it is guaranteed I will work on the commission unless something personal occurs or the deadline is reached, and if that is the case, you will be fully refunded.
2. Partial refunds can be given at various phases such as sketching, linework, and coloring; however, do not expect them to be great at these phases in an illustration.3. Once a commission is completed, I send you the files and you have confirmed back to me, there will be no refunds.COMMUNICATION
Please contact me on Discord for the fastest response times! My user is crrncrw (do NOT dm the user with the username 'crrn'. That is my old account, and it was hacked. I no longer have access to that account). I try my best to communicate with clients and send progress shots often; if Discord is not viable, you can also message me on Twitter/X (@CRRN). If neither of these options are available or you would like to keep all your messages in one place, we can communicate through EMail.
*Please know that, while @_CRRN_ is my main X account, I only check it once or twice a day at maximum to clear notifications. Please message my alt, @crrnspiracy for a quick response time.Deliverables
1. Files, including the full-scale .png, .psd, and other add-ons you request, will be transferred to you via Google Drive. Please discuss with me if you prefer a different file sharing service.
MISCELLANEOUS
If you commission me to draw something that I have expressed that I am either simply not good at and/or not used to drawing, or have never drawn before, and are unhappy with the result, I don't expect to take responsibility for this.
When sending me character references, please send one that accurately displays the character unobscured by high-opacity or covering watermarks. I may reject commissions simply because the character has a watermark so obscuring, I can no longer accurately draw the character.
